Yurtiçi Kargo Executives and Employees Gathered for the Annual Strategic Directions Meeting
Yurtiçi Kargo, the leading express delivery and logistics solution provider and record taxpayer of Turkey, organized a company meeting to evaluate the latest developments in the economy and transportation industry. As the worldwide economic crisis forces many large scale companies to lay off significant portions of their workforces, 2,200 of Yurtiçi Kargo employees from different regions of Turkey gathered at Antalya Side Sueno Hotel to come up with various strategies against the economic crisis
The focus areas of the 9-day long meetings included new approaches in customer oriented services as well as employee satisfaction in a challenging business environment. In special sessions, various levels of Yurtiçi Kargo employees provided feedback to upper management and chief executives of the company. In addition, according to appropriate levels of performance and career development, many Yurtiçi Kargo team members received trainings in the areas of sales and customer relationship management.
Yurtiçi Kargo employees who have completed 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 years of service at the company received awards and recognition from the executives. On the last day of the meetings, the Chairman of Yurtiçi Kargo?s parent company Arıkanlı Holding, İbrahim Arıkan, gave a keynote speech and shared his remarks with employees. Emphasizing the crucial importance of positive attitude and high levels of motivation in challenging times, İbrahim Arıkan said that with more collaboration and effective execution, Yurtiçi Kargo will bolster its leading position in the market in 2009.
